年末のクリスマスカードと年賀状です！

1843年にJohn Callcott Horsleyはイギリスで初めのクリスマスカードを書いて送りました。このカードに"A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You.”が書いてありました。

北欧ですが、19世紀終期にデンマークから、その後他の北欧の国で早く人気になりました。今も、北欧でクリスマスカードの伝統はとても大事です！

One of the most important traditions that Japan and Scandinavia has in common is the Christmas and New Year cards!
The first Christmas card known was written in England by John Callcott Horsley in 1843 with the message "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You.” But it quickly became popular in Scandinavian first in Denmark and then all Scandinavia in the late 1800s and the tradition is still very much alive today!
